Crossing the Semnoz – Cycling Route

This route takes you up Semnoz from the north side and back down via the Col de Leschaux, for an athletic traverse of this summit with breathtaking panoramas—if you still have any breath left! Semnoz, the “mountain of the people of Annecy,” has even hosted a Tour de France summit finish!
It is one of the very first “major climbs” in Haute-Savoie, according to the Club des Cent Cols, experts in the field! Comparable to the Col de la Ramaz or the southern ascent of the Col de Joux-Plane.
