The Tour du Lac d'Annecy can be enjoyed year-round, at your own pace. Just be sure to pack appropriate gear for the season, the expected weather, and the planned duration of your ride. In spring and summer, ride and soak up the first rays of sunshine on the lake. Stroll along the lake's edge, pause for a photo, stop for lunch, or take a break for a nap or a swim. In the depths of winter, the route is theoretically still accessible, but its usability depends on weather conditions (rain, snow, ice): it is advisable to check with our team or the Tourist Office before setting off, if needed

Description de l'itinéraire

Intermediate / Medium difficulty (from 14 Years old) The loop around Lake Annecy is a cycling circuit of about 40 km around the lake, starting from Annecy.
The route alternates between a safe greenway (west shore) and bike paths/bike lanes on the east shore, with a few small climbs but no major difficulty.
Suitable for regular cyclists as well as fairly sporty families, it offers an exceptional panoramic ride between turquoise water and mountains. Remember to bring a picnic and a swimsuit depending on the season.

Poulette's advice

Do the loop clockwise starting from Annecy (Annecy - Veyrier - Menthon St Bernard - Talloires - Doussard - Duingt - Saint Jorioz - Sevrier and back to Annecy).
