At Roul ma Poule, we believe in more responsible mobility. Our CSR commitment guides our actions every day: reducing our environmental impact, encouraging more sustainable travel, and supporting the areas where we operate.
Through concrete choices and a transparent approach, we want to help build mobility that is more respectful of the environment, people, and the local economy.
At Roul' ma poule, we’re convinced: cycling is the ideal way to preserve Annecy and its surroundings.

The 3 ROUL' ma POULE bicycle rental shops work every day to respect the environment and CSR standards.
We try to move forward together in order to best protect our team’s comfort at work and help protect Lake Annecy and its unique, exceptional environment!

Our CSR approach

  • On a social level, we make it easier for travel by members of our team by bike; both for commuting to and from work, as well as for most of breakdowns for customers, when this can be done around Lake Annecy!
  • We facilitate access to the workshop and purchasing centers for parts for cycling staff and try to reuse second-hand or reconditioned bike parts, via associations such as (Roul & Co),
  • Organic products are used for protection, maintenance, and lubrication of equipment in order to better respect staff and the environment,
  • Fountains of organic degreasers BIO with closed-loop systems are used in each shop,
  • Use of a double workshop stand electric (parktool), to make it easier to lift bikes for all staff, whether for maintenance or servicing the bike fleet,
  • Working with short supply chains with different local partners, via associations, craftspeople, companies, or even nearby suppliers,
  • Recycling of bike parts via a local company (tricycleco),
  • Sorting waste through a professional waste disposal facility.

Why discover Annecy by bike?

Annecy is the dream combo: an incredible lake, mountains all around, a charming old town… and kilometers of great ride ideas. The problem? On foot, it takes time to see everything. By car, between traffic and parking, it can quickly get complicated. So we have a simple solution: a classic bike, comfort bike, fitness bike, gravel bike, road bike, or an e-bike (electric-assist bike) to ride further, longer, without getting tired.

Imagine: you ride along the Lake Annecy cycle path, you stop whenever you want for a beach, a viewpoint, a little coffee… and you set off again as if nothing happened.

With family, friends, as a couple, with colleagues, or solo: Annecy is discovered at your own pace, in relaxed-ride mode or on a more sporty outing tackling the mountain passes.

Top-notch experience for our group of 7 adults and 2 children! The team was ultra responsive and very friendly from start to finish. A big thank you to Pauline and her colleague for their excellent advice and great energy, which made our day even more enjoyable. Great experience at this bike rental shop! The bikes were very high quality, really comfortable, and equipped with everything you need (helmets, baskets, etc.). A great team—friendly and very attentive. The shop is located right next to the cycle paths, so we were able to set off immediately for a magnificent ride around the lake. Thank you to Roul ma poule — we picked up three bikes at 11:30 on a busy summer day so we could cycle around the lake. What a fabulous ride... Lots of lovely beach stops for a swim, if you have the right gear with you. The bikes come with locks, which is great! A big thank you to Flo who answered our call when my son's chain broke. He found us and fixed the bike while having a nice friendly chat, and we got back to our adventure. A fabulous day!
